Happiness doesn't come from proving who I am in the eyes of others; it comes from knowing who you are in the eyes of God.

God doesn't see me as I am right now. In the eyes of God I am a saint.
God doesn't leave me as I am right now. God is committed to my transformation.

I am not the person I ought to be. I am not the person I want to be. But thank God - I'm not the person I used to be and by the grade of God I will someday be the person he has already declared me to be.
