Why do I sometimes feel far from God?

1. God isn’t giving me what I want.
2. I’m ignoring Him or rebelling against Him.

One of the ways to test if you’re trusting the Messiah or not is by looking at your response to unwanted circumstances.

My NEXT STEP with God

• …watch out for complaining coming out of my mouth. Instead of complaining, I’ll take my problems to God both honestly and humbly.
• …confess to God an area where I’ve fallen into complaining & commit to responding better with God’s help.
• …find out more about becoming a follower of Jesus. I want to know God is “at my elbow”!
