What will it be like?
Bible Text: Revelation 21:1-5 | Preacher: Nathan Herrlin | Series: Journey Through the New Testament | CURIOUS: What’s the difference between the millenium and the eternal state?
Rebellion is still possible in the Millennium, but not in the eternal state.
People will still die in the Millennium, but not in the eternal state.
Free-will still exists in the Millennium. In the eternal state, our choice has been made.
HOPEFUL: “The old order of things has passed away.”
The curse will be permanently reversed!
IMPORTANT: You have to qualify to get in.
The way we qualify for Paradise is not by trying harder; but by asking someone else to take our sins & failures for us.
Ephesians 1:7 “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.”
PERSONAL: What is my response to God’s invitation to Paradise?
Believe
Prepare
The best way we can prepare for Paradise is:
Come to Jesus in faith.
Lead other people to Jesus.
Fully follow Jesus together.
Distinguishing marks of a God-pleasing follower of Jesus:
You eagerly anticipate your eternal future with God in Paradise.
You work diligently to prepare for it.
